Apply to join the register of apprenticeship training providers
The register of apprenticeship training providers lists organisations eligible to receive government funding to train apprentices.
Organisations that are eligible to join the register can apply at any time. There are no deadlines for applications.
How to apply
Before you start, read the guidance on GOV.UK. Once you’re ready to apply, follow the steps below:
- Choose an application route (you can only apply for one route).
- Check that you’re eligible.
- If you’re eligible, apply to join the register.
There are application exemptions, so the application sections you see depend on the answers you give.
How long it takes
We start reviewing new applications on the first working day of each month.
It usually takes 12 weeks to review an application, but sometimes it takes longer. If you need to resubmit your application, it may take another 12 weeks to review it again.
If your application is unsuccessful, we’ll send you a message with feedback. You should make changes before you resubmit it.
Appeal your application result
If you want to appeal your application result, you should send an email to roatp.APPEALS@education.gov.uk.
You must submit your appeal within 10 working days of the date of receipt of your application result and feedback on your application.
We will aim to tell you the outcome of your appeal within 15 working days of us receiving your appeal.
