Caring for someoneApprenticeThis article sits within the Apprentice section
If you need to care for someone else because of the coronavirus outbreak, speak to your employer and training provider to see if you can agree to change the way you continue with your apprenticeship training.
This could mean that you use digital or distance learning to continue with your apprenticeship.
You may be able to work more flexible hours if you need to look after:
- an adult
- a sick child
- a dependent
You can take time off from work to look after someone in an emergency, but you might not get paid for it. Check or contact the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service to find out more.
