Apprentices who are currently outside of England

The apprenticeship funding rules state that an apprentice must spend 50% of their working time, over the duration of their apprenticeship, within England to remain eligible for support.   

 

During the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak we have introduced a flexibility to the rules so that apprentices that are continuing to do their training, but have no option but to work from home and train remotely from a location outside of England due to coronavirus, will still be eligible for apprenticeship funding.
