How we collect and use feedback on your training
Training providerThis article sits within the Training provider sectionTraining Provider
We ask apprentices and employers to give us feedback throughout the apprenticeship. They can access a feedback survey through links in emails we send or through their apprenticeship service accounts.
We use this feedback to help employers when they’re choosing a training provider. Employers will see feedback about your training on Find apprenticeship training.
Reviews
The reviews we show are based on the last 5 academic years of feedback you’ve been given. If an apprentice or employer gives you feedback more than once, we’ll only use their newest answers to calculate your scores.
We ask apprentices and employers to rate your training from very poor to excellent. We show the average of the reviews as a star rating out of 4.
Feedback from apprentices
Apprentices give feedback about which parts of your training they think you’re providing to a reasonable standard. These include topics like:
- the structure of your training
- your communication with apprentices
- supporting the apprentice
We’ll show these ratings as a bar chart.
If you do not have any feedback from apprentices, it is because we wait for 5 apprentices to give feedback before showing their ratings.
Feedback from employers
Employers also give feedback about what they think are strengths or needs improvement. Topics that employers can pick from include:
- your training facilities
- how you adapt to employers’ needs
- your communication with employers
We’ll show these ratings as a bar chart.
Feedback you’ve been given
You can see a detailed breakdown of the feedback you’ve been given using the ‘Your feedback’ section of your apprenticeship service account.
