Get a replacement apprenticeship certificate

If an apprenticeship certificate is incorrect, damaged, or lost during the delivery, you can request a replacement for free. We normally send replacement certificates to the apprentice’s employer.

We have introduced temporary flexibilities if the employer's address is not accessible to make sure certificates are received. Apprenticeship certificates can now be to be sent to the:

  • apprentice
  • or the apprentice’s training provider

If you report that the original certificate was not received, we will check our system to see when this was sent.  If it was posted in the last 6 months, we will provide you with the proof of delivery information so you can try and locate the original. 

If you cannot locate this, we will re-print the certificate for you.

We send new certificates out within 15 days, by recorded delivery.

You’ll need to send any damaged or incorrect certificates back to us.
